What it solves
When a group travels or eats together, payments rarely divide themselves evenly.
One person books the hotel, another buys the tickets, someone else pays for meals, and another may hardly pay along the way. Reassigning every cost and then working out who should transfer money to whom can quickly become confusing.
That is what the Travel Cost Split Calculator is for.
Enter the participants and actual expenses, and it calculates each person’s average share and a reasonably direct transfer path. It never handles money; it only makes the final account clear.
What it can do

By member payment
If you already know how much each person paid in total, enter those amounts directly. The Mini Program calculates the average, who paid too much or too little, and the transfers needed to settle up.

If you still have each expense, enter items such as hotels, tickets, meals, or admission fees one by one. Record who paid each item and let the Mini Program total everything.

Each person can settle separately, or several people can form a group with one representative. This works for couples, families, or anyone already planning to share their costs.

How to begin
For a first calculation, use this order:
Choose everyone sharing the expenses
Enter a name for each person
Select calculation by member payment or by expense item
Enter the costs that have already occurred
Calculate, then review the average cost and final transfers
If the group is large and some people settle together, group them first and choose one representative for the final calculation.
The simplest way to think about it is this:
